15 Best foods to eat for energy

If you are like many others tired of being tired, then it`s a good time to make some changes in your life and in the way you eat. We all know how lack of energy effect our daily activities and make us less productive. The fastest and one of the best way to create a change in your energy levels is by changing your diet. Food we eat play an essential and tremendous role in determining our energy level throughout our day and in life in general! Begin to fuel your body with good stuff that your body will be happy with and will show you appreciation. We all know that some foods drain energy from us, and some foods gives us life. Which one do you choose? Here are some foods that have been proven to promote your energy levels and kick ass in your life!




1. Bananas: Such an amazing food for energy. They are great source of potassium, vitamin B6, and carbohydrate, all of which help boost energy levels in our bodies.


2. Apples: One apple a day keeps doctor away! Apples are an amazing source of antioxidant, carbs, fiber, rich in vitamins and minerals. Apples are great to protect you brain, good for bone health, and of course a great source of energy.


3. Avocados:

Avocados are significant health benefits as they considered to be a super-food. They are rich in fiber, B vitamins, and healthy fats. These healthy fats have been shown to promote optimal blood fat levels and enhance the absorption of nutrients. Plus they stored in the body and used as energy source.




4. Oranges:

Yes, the famous fruit rich in vitamin C that will take care strengthening your immune system! Additionally, oranges packed with antioxidant, great source of fiber, folate, and potassium.

and are great to boost your energy. Moreover oranges help to prevent cancer and boost our heart health.


5. Strawberries:

Another good energy boosting excellent fruit! This yummy fruit filled with excellent source of vitamin c, antioxidants, carbs, fiber, and more. Strawberries help to fight fatigue and always will give a great energy! There are so many ways to incorporate strawberries in your diet. Eat them ass they are, add them to your breakfast, add them to your smoothies, add them to your salad, etc.


6. Goji Berries:

These unique berries still not popular enough in our modern market. These little beautiful berries has so much goodness in them! They are so rich in fiber, antioxidant, vitamins and minerals, and much more. Goji berries have been used in Chinese medicine for centuries due to their incredible benefits.

These berries help to slow down digestion and release energy slowly. Goji berries assist with mental performance and alertness, and provide an a fascinating energy. I love to add them to my oatmeal breakfast, homemade granola, yogurt, smoothies, or just as they are. I love their sweet, sour taste.





7. Water:

I`ll say that over and over again, because it`s that important! Water is essential for life and energy. Your body is composed of about 60% water and is involved in many cellular functions, including energy production. Water will give you a boost of energy and will let you feel and function at your pick. 8. Oatmeal:

If you follow along, you know how much I Iove and eat oatmeal. It`s literally one of my favorite breakfast ever! Oatmeal not only rich with vitamins and minerals that help the energy production process and keep you with long lasting energy, but also provide an array of B vitamins, iron, and manganese.


9. Nuts:

Nuts are loaded with vitamins and minerals, such as manganese, B & E vitamins, iron, which all of these help increase energy production and decrease tiredness.

Nuts is an amazing snack packed with nutrients, abundant with protein, carbs, and healthy fats and wonderful to promote energy. These nutrients can provide you with a slow release of energy during your day. Moreover, nuts high in omega - 3 & 6 fatty acids, and antioxidants that not only increase energy levels, but help with inflammation and antioxidant protection.




10. Quinoa:

My favorite seed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I literally can eat quinoa every single day. Quinoa is always on my list when I "prep meals" for the following week. These beautiful seeds know as superfood, very high in protein content, carbs, and a significant amount of vitamins and minerals. Plus, quinoa is rich with manganese, magnesium, and folate, which all these nutrients are used by enzymes in the process of producing energy.


11. Brown Rice:

Brown rice is a whole grain with incredible health benefits! Brown rice is a very nutritious food with that carry with it great value of fiber, vitamins, minerals, manganese, carbs, protein, to generate an amazing energy that you need to rock! Plus, it helps to regulate blood sugar levels and help you maintain steady energy levels in between your meals. Brown rice is another essential food that I always make when I meal prep.


12. Lentils:

Besides being a great an inexpensive source of protein, carbs, and fiber, lentils are an excellent source of nutrients and help boost energy levels. The fiber in lentils promotes slow stomach emptying and helps control your blood sugar levels. You will not only feel full for longer, but you will also enjoy steady energy levels.





13. Leafy Green Veggies:

Spinach, Kale, Arugula, Parsley, Romaine, Collard, etc. are excellent source of nutrients that promote energy. Let`s take a look at all fascinating health benefits in these beauties! They are high in iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, vitamins A, C ,E & K, packed with folic acid, fiber, antioxidants, and more! Leafy greens enhance the absorption of iron in the body winch essential for good energy, and iron also enhances the production of red blood cells that are efficient for delivering oxygen to your cells, which known to fight fatigue.


14. Seeds: Our super food seeds are so amazing to increase our energy levels. Chia seeds, flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, are generally high in plant based omega - 3 fatty acids which important source of stored energy and help your cells function properly. Plus helps to reduce inflammation and increase energy.

Additionally, all these seeds are phenomenal source of protein and fiber, that contributes to the slow digestion of the nutrients, resulting in a steady, sustained release of good energy.



15. Beets:

Beets are packed with carbs, fiber, sugar and have gain popularity due to their ability to improve energy. Beetroot improve blood flow due to its antioxidant content, and allowing more oxygen delivery to tissues. All this has the ability to increase energy levels.
